In a recent hangout, business travel experts shared their favorite travel hacks. Here’s a sampling of what they’ve discovered:
- Buy tech at the Japan airport. John Sencion, the co-founder of Flight 001, says he bought a pair of Bose Headphones at one airport store at an impressive discount.
- Consider a wireless hotspot. Sencion mentions that wifi isn’t always as accessible in Asian countries as you might be used to. He uses a special mobile hotspot to stay connected wherever he may be.
- Entertain to close. You won’t sign a deal if you only meet them in the office. Take your associates out for a meal, especially in China, says Michelle Karam, founder of Travel Junkie Diary. “Laugh, be together for a long period of time.”
