Business people have the tendency to focus only on doing things that scale -- things that become easier over time and help your business and your own life. But in this episode of In The Office, Lemonly CEO John T. Meyer explains why you need to do some things that might cost you money with no immediate return.

"Until I can't, I'm going to always do things that don't scale," he says. "It shows what you value, it shows a personal touch, and it shows that you're willing to put in the effort that most people aren't."
