You're Way Late to the Gold Rush If You're Marketing Yourself Exclusively Online

In this video,  Entrepreneur Network partner and marketing expert Matt Dubiel compares those who try to market themselves exclusively on the Internet these days to those who came to California late during the Gold Rush -- they're wasting their time, and they're certainly not going to make any money. 

"I'm here to tell you that offline is the new online," he says.

A while back, the Internet leveled the playing field for all professionals to market themselves, which was great in the beginning for those who weren't big enough to be able to afford advertising, but then suddenly, Internet marketers became commonplace -- the worst thing that can happen. So, because no one wants to get lost in a flood of thousands of online business coaches, Dubiel says that direct mail, outbound calling and outdoor advertising are just a few retro techniques that are becoming effective again in an over-saturated Internet-marketing universe.
