Unabashedly Shameless Finance Guy Timothy Sykes Exposes the Millionaire Lifestyle

3 min read
Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.

Timothy Sykes is a lot of things: a penny-stock trader, a web entrepreneur, a failed hedge fund manager, an educator and the most unashamedly self-promotional person in finance.

He’s one of those guys you see on social media waving fat stacks of cash, posing in front of expensive cars and fronting a lifestyle of pure decadence.

But if you think Tim is just some rich internet asshole then you’re missing the point.

Tim is LOUD for a reason.

“I do whatever the fuck it takes to motivate people,” he says. “If your math teacher had an orange Lambo, I bet a lot more kids would be interested in learning and would push themselves at a young age.”

Tim does what he does to drive traffic to education. Fundamentally, he’s teaching the same principles as we do at Rich20Something. There’s a lot of wisdom behind his ridiculousness.

Listen to today’s episode to learn how Tim got started in the most dangerous corner of the stock market, his stance on the changing landscape of education, and what it takes to stand out as an entrepreneur and leader of social change.
