In this video, Entrepreneur Network partners Drew Johnson and Savannah Sanchez of 7Twelve Marketing provide helpful tips for a successful elevator pitch.

Being relatable and making your audience care are the first key steps toward a successful pitch. Being clear, concise and to the point are also vital -- there's no need to add "fluff" to an elevator pitch. It's important to have great energy too -- you have to be excited about what you're selling to get others excited too.

At the end of a pitch, leave your audience wanting more so they'll have to follow up with you. Lastly and most important, know when to shut up. People don't want you to ramble.
