Video: El Museo de Antropología ahora tiene inteligencia artificial

IBM y Watson celebran 90 años en México con el proyecto "Voces de otro tiempo", con el que podrás conversar con 11 piezas del museo. Visita las exposiciones.

¿Te imaginas preguntarle personalmente a la Coatlicue cuánto pesa? Pues el Museo Nacional de Antropología (MNA) abre sus puertas el próximo 1 de noviembre para que sus visitantes puedan vivir una experiencia única a través del proyecto “Voces de otros tiempos”, iniciativa desarrollada por IBM y su plataforma de inteligencia artificial Watson

De manera personalizada, los usuarios pueden manipular, desde un teléfono inteligente, la maplicación basada en audio y voz, que cuenta con la capacidad de dar respuesta hasta 22 mil preguntas. Este proyecto fue desarrollado durante cinco meses por IBM en colaboración con el MNA, el Patronato del Museo Nacional de Antropología y el Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH).

“Durante 90 años de IBM en México hemos colaborado con el desarrollo integral del país. La inteligencia artificial transformará muchas industrias como el turismo, la salud y el comercio. ‘Voces de otro tiempo’ enlaza el pasado, el presente y el futuro de México, para llevar la experiencia museográfica a una nueva era”, señaló Antonio Martins, general manager IBM México en conferencia de prensa.

“Voces de otro tiempo” es una experiencia exclusiva en el Museo de Antropología enfocada al público nacional y de habla hispana. Se podrá interactuar con 11 piezas ubicadas en dos salas: Mexica: Piedra del Sol, Coatlicue, Piedra de Tizoc, Ocelocuauhxicalli, Coyolxauhqui y el Penacho de Moctezuma; Maya: Dintel 26, Friso Estucado, Tumba de Pakal y Chac Mol; así como con el Mural “Dualidad” de Rufino Tamayo.

“Este proyecto es una experiencia innovadora, que invita al visitante a tener una interacción con el acervo cultural. Esta es una muestra del compromiso que tiene IBM con la transformación de las organizaciones. Watson es una plataforma tecnológica de inteligencia artificial que dejó atrás la programación”, aseguró Martha González Pérez-Sandi, directora de consultoría de IBM Watson.

Esta experiencia estará disponible a partir del 1 de noviembre hasta abril de 2018, de martes a viernes sin costo adicional al de la entrada del museo. Se cuentan con 50 dispositivos y los horarios se deben consultar en el módulo de informes. No te la puedes perder.
