The Tunisian Business Council in Dubai and Northern Emirates recently organized the first Tunisian Startup Forum at in5 in Dubai, with the aim of connecting Tunisia's promising startups to Dubai-based angel and venture capital investors. Furthermore, the council presented the recently-adopted Startup Act, part of the government’s broader Digital Tunisia 2020 strategy. The law is expected to make entrepreneurship in Tunisia more competitive internationally, while increasing domestic economic growth.

Entrepreneur Middle East talks with Brahim Ben Ammar, President of the Tunisian Business Council in Dubai; Mohamed Salah Frad, General Manager United Gulf Finance Services North Africa and President of Tunisia Associations of Venture Capitals; Hedi Zaher, CEO of Datavora, and Amin Laaroussi, CEO of ECO as they share their thoughts on key startup investment opportunities in Tunisia as entrepreneurs share their ideas and solutions through pitches and presentations.
