Moreover, an important key to success is regular, consistent action. If you're having trouble taking action, Canfield offers a few tips to meeting your goals faster.

  1. Eliminate excuses. Most likely, whatever the goal it is your setting for yourself, you will always be able to find an excuse to not pursue it.
  2. Do not wait until the "perfect moment." It usually does not exist, and there will always be some sort of obstacle standing in your way.
  3. Try failing forward. The faster you dive into failing in a constructive manner, the better.
