To Learn, Tap into Community: Lessons From Amazon's Pop-up Loft Solutions can come from surprising sources.

By Nina Zipkin

This summer, Amazon launched its New York pop-up loft, a hybrid co-working space and education hub for programmers of all stripes looking to learn more about the cloud and Amazon Web Services. The stylishly appointed workspace offers a rooftop deck, a fully stocked kitchen and clusters of couches and seating designed for collaboration. Businesses thrive when they learn from others who are in the same boat, says Ariel Kelman, a VP of Worldwide Marketing at Amazon. "Being able to ask for help from us is one thing, but in some cases its even better to ask for help from the person sitting next to you." He adds, "They learn just as much from our other customers as they do from us or from our training classes." Learn more about how business owners are leveraging community in this short video.
