Here's How Warren Buffett and Other Top Investors Spend Their Days These three common behaviors stand out among the top investors.

Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.

In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner Phil Town looks at what one day in the life of a successful investor entails.

Town dives into the daily lives of some of the most well-known investors, such as what they are reading, what they do to cope with stress and how often they really look at stocks every day. The three behaviors top investors engage the most in are reading, donating generously to charities and doing sports and hobbies.

Similar to other successful investors, Town spends a majority of his time reading. Reading gives the investor the ability to understand something and go deeper into a topic. Town shares he spends about 50-60 percent of his day diving into headlines and books.

Successful investors also have their unique quirks for how they manage their time. Warren Buffett does not wake up extremely early; instead he sometimes takes his time after the markets open. He is also a stickler for having exact change for his fast-food breakfast each morning.
