Greta Thunberg Twitter Feud May Have Led to Alleged Sex Trafficker's Arrest. "What Happens When You Don't Recycle Your Pizza Boxes." The eco-activist's tweet went viral after lashing back at a taunt from Andrew Tate. The next day, Tate and his brother were arrested for sex trafficking. Is a pizza box to blame?

What do noted climate activist Greta Thunberg, self-proclaimed multi-millionaire and misogynist Andrew Tate, Romania, and an unrecycled pizza box have in common? No, this is not a riddle — and the story keeps getting stranger.

It all started with a Twitter war earlier this week when Tate tweeted a photo of himself standing next to his gas-guzzling Bugatti. Tagging Thunberg, he boasted about his 33 cars and wrote: "Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions."

Tate was banned from Twitter in 2017 but reinstated last month.

Thunberg responded with a tweet questioning Tate's manhood. She wrote, "yes, please do enlighten me," sharing the fake email address: "smalldickenergy@getalife.com."

Pizza boxgate

Thunberg's response went viral with over 276 million views, causing Tate to respond with a video in which he describes Thunberg as a "slave of the matrix" who's trying to "convince you to beg your government to tax you into poverty to stop the sun from being hot."

Midway through the video, he asks someone to bring him pizza. "Make sure that these boxes are not recycled," he says, placing the pizza box on the table so that "Jerry's Pizza" is visible.

An arrest

Shortly thereafter, Andrew Tate and his brother were arrested in Romania on charges related to sex trafficking, kidnapping, and rape, according to Romanian news outlet Liberatea.

The pizza box tipped off local police of Tate's location, according to several news outlets. Police raided his villa where he and his brother had allegedly detained an American and Romanian woman against their will in April.

A video of the arrest was posted on Twitter.

The Romanian police have not confirmed this story. But that didn't prevent Thunberg from responding with another clever tweet.

"This is what happens when you don't recycle your pizza boxes," she wrote.

Who is Andrew Tate?

After retiring from kickboxing, Tate made millions on various ventures, including allegedly setting up a webcam business in Romania.

He also sells his course to thousands through an online school and community called "Hustlers University."

Tate's net worth is $50 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Tate has previously told his followers that he moved to Romania because the police there were less likely to pursue sexual assault allegations against him.

This is a breaking story.
