You know that annoying thing that happens when you have a million tabs open and you hear a video playing in one of them but can't figure out where it is? Google wants to end that problem.

Google introduced a Chrome Beta release on Monday that allows users to easily identify tabs that are playing music or video – a big help to today's web multitaskers.

The update will allow users to visually locate the noisy culprit thanks to the addition of a speaker icon that makes it easy to find the offending tab. That means no more going insane looking through tab after tab for the racket.

It's not just loud tabs that are getting update. Chrome Beta will also alert users about tabs that are using your Webcam or that are being cast to your TV.

The latest Chrome Beta update will also protect your computer from malicious files. In addition to the Safe Browsing feature that warns users about malicious websites and files, Chrome Beta will automatically block malware files, according to Google.

If a file has malware, users will receive a message that states: "This file is malicious, and Chrome has blocked it." Users can simply hit dismiss if the message pops up on the download tray at the bottom of the screen.
