Tony Hawk began his career as a professional skateboarder in the 1980s. Over time, he evolved that passion for skateboarding into a diversified sports empire that includes a clothing line, video game series and production company. The secret to his success? "You have to continue challenging yourself, or they're going to forget about you," Hawk says in an interview with Behind the Brand host Bryan Elliott. He always focused on his next step and learning as much as he could. He tells other entrepreneurs to learn every aspect of their businesses, from bookkeeping to marketing, to gain a solid foundation to build on.
