Carlos Albizu University (CAU) is the only fully accredited university in the United States named in honor of a Hispanic. We are proud of our roots and our commitment to excellence in program offerings. Serving South Florida for more than two decades, our programs have produced culturally sensitive professionals capable of serving the diverse population of our global community. Through its expert faculty, CAU offers exciting and challenging programs in Business Administration, Education, and Psychology to more than 1,500 students at our two campuses. With more than 65 countries represented in our student body, CAU - Miami Campus thrives in a modern 18-acre facility located in the city of Doral . CAU classes are small and with flexible schedules to meet the needs of our students. Our Business programs are Fast Track, allowing Undergraduate students to complete their Bachelors Degree in 18 months, and Graduate students to secure a Masters in Business Administration in just over a year. CAU's Goodman Psychological Services Center is a unique resource for the Institution's psychology practitioners to hone clinical acquired skills while providing supervised mental health services to our local community. Since 1980, The Goodman Center has provided services to more than ten thousand members of our community contributing an average of $500,000 per year in pro bono services. Carlos Albizu University (CAU) is a private, non-profit, institution of higher learning with campuses in San Juan, Puerto Rico (San Juan Campus) and Miami, Florida (Miami Campus).

School Says - Student Body
There are two makor organizations on the Carlos Albizu campus: the Student Council, and Phi Beta Lambda. The Student Council seeks to promote communication, cooperation and understanding among students, faculty and administration, and suggests ways to promote the best interests and objectives of the academic community. The Student Council's functions are regulated by the applicable dispositions of the General Regulations for Students of the CAU. Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit educational association of students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. The Association has four different divisions including: FBLA for high school students, FBLA Middle Level for junior high, middle and intermediate school students, PBL for postsecondary students, and The Professional Alumni Division for business people, educators and parents, who support the goals of the association.

School Says - Admissions
Application for admission must be received by the Admissions Office prior to the beginning of the term of enrollment for which the applicant is requesting admission. Out-of-state and international applicants should have all admission documents on file at least 90 days prior to the beginning of the term of expected enrollment. The non-refundable fee must accompany the application, which will be valid for one year. Should the student not enroll within one year of admission, the fee is forfeited. To process an application, the following minimum documents are required: * Application. * Copy of transcript/s. * Letters of recommendation and resume. The student admission record must contain all other required documents by the end of the first academic session. Students with incomplete records after the first session at the Institution will be administratively withdrawn.

Geographically located in Miami, Florida, an area rich in multicultural diversity and laden with the complex socioeconomic and psychosocial realities that accompany such diversity, the Miami Campus of Carlos Albizu University has been in a forefront position in training students who can respond to the needs and demands of a multi-ethnic population. The Miami Campus is located at 2173 NW 99TH Avenue, Miami, Florida 33172. The area is readily accessible through four major thoroughfares: SR826, SR836 and the Florida Turnpike.

Undergraduate: $240.00 per credit Undergraduate Business: $345.00 per credit Master: $455.00 per credit Master Business: $455.00 per credit Non Terminal Master: $615.00 per credit Doctorate: $615.00 per credit ESOL: $300.00 per class CLEP: $150 exam *Tuition Rates are charged according to the Program/Concentration of the student. Only in the case of pre requisite courses are they charged based on the Program/Concentration of the course. GLOBAL FEES PAYABLE FOR EACH SESSION Graduate Program: $273.00 Undergraduate Program: $223.00More than 75 percent of our students receive financial aid in the form of grants, loans, or on-campus employment. We are here to help you meet your educational goals. The Federal Pell Grant Program is available to financially needy undergraduate students only. Grants do not have to be repaid. The Federal Supplemental Opportunity Educational Grant (FSEOG) Program is gift aid and is available to financially needy undergraduate students. The Federal Work-Study Program provides jobs to undergraduate and graduate students, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The Scholarship for Disadvantaged Students (Psy.D. students) is a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services and is available to full-time doctoral students who meet the disadvantaged student criteria. The Florida State Assistance Grant (FSAG) is a financial aid program available to undergraduate Florida residents who meet all eligibility criteria and demonstrate substantial financial need. The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship program rewards students for their academic achievements during high school. Fifteen $1000 Albizu Scholarships are offered each term to CAU students who meet the eligibility criteria. Contact the financial aid office for an application.
