Pre-professional Studies - Law - Medicine Accelerated Programs 3+3 Law Program The 3+3 Law Program offers eligible students the opportunity to earn their bachelorÂ's degree from the College and Juris Doctor degrees from Western New England College School of Law, located on campus, in six years instead of seven. Five-year Bachelor/MBA or MSA Gain a competitive advantage for your future with the Five-year Bachelor/MBA or MSA program. The MBA program is open to students in most majors. Six-year Biomedical Engineering/Law This unique program fills a dire need for professionals with training in both engineering and the law. Pursue careers as attorneys working for the government, private industry, or in private practice. Accreditation The College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the School of Business is fully accredited by AACSB InternationalÂâ€"The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, and all majors in the School of Engineering are accredited by ABETÂâ€"The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Various programs have additional accreditation.
School Says - Admissions
Admission is offered to students on a rolling basis for all programs. Decisions begin in late fall after the first quarter marking period grades are released. Students must submit the Western New England College application, SAT I or ACT scores, an official secondary school transcript, and a recommendation from a guidance counselor or teacher. International students can substitute the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for the SAT or ACT test. American students for whom English is not their first language are encouraged to submit TOEFL scores. Transfer students must also submit official transcripts for any collegiate work. An essay is not required, but essays and personal statements are welcome. Applicants must have graduated from an approved secondary school or have obtained a General Equivalency Diploma (GED). The minimum units of high school preparation should include four units of English, two units of mathematics, one unit of laboratory science, and one unit of U.S. history. Students seeking admission to the School of Business and various majors within the School of Arts and Sciences are required to have three units of mathematics while engineering applicants are required to have four units of mathematics. The School of Engineering and various Arts and Sciences majors require more than one unit of laboratory science. The Office of Admissions should be contacted for specific admissions requirements. A Beautiful Campus is Just the Beginning Western New England College students enjoy a beautiful 215-acre suburban campus at the "Crossroads of New England." Western New England College is located a mere 30 minutes from Hartford and Bradley International Airport, 90 minutes from Boston, and less than three hours from New York City. The Connecticut River Valley along Interstate 91 is called New England's "Knowledge Corridor" because of its abundance of institutions of higher education. In fact, the region boasts 35 colleges and universities, which enroll 149,200 students.

The programs include merit and need-based scholarships, grants, loans, and on-campus employment. Students seeking financial aid must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and a copy of the federal income tax return and W2. Approximately 90 percent of Western New England College students annually receive assistance.
