With the Perfect Production Facility, This Jewelry Maker Harnesses Craftsmanship and Serious Growth A tour of Four Seasons Design Group's 12,000-square-foot space for a close-up look at all the intricate work.

Having a single space to oversee both creative design and production—from start to finish—is something many business owners dream about, regardless of their industry or market. For the owners of Four Seasons International Design Group, that dream is a reality.

Founded nearly 40 years ago, the company purchased a 12,000-square-foot commercial/industrial space in Bellmore, N.Y. in 1980. Historically, all of Four Seasons' operations—designing, manufacturing, and selling beautiful, high-quality products for museums and galleries all over the world—took place under one roof, and thanks to its location, they still do.

Most recently, Four Seasons expanded its brick-and-mortar operations with the launch of an ecommerce business, working with influencers to bring the brand's sales into the digital age. "Having a 12,000-square-foot building gives us the ability to greatly expand our business," president Steve Lazar says. Luckily, he says, the building already was zoned for industrial as well as commercial, which their business requires.
