Dr. Maher Hakim
Dr. Maher Hakim is currently an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at
Carnegie Mellon University Qatar
, where he teaches courses on innovation entrepreneurship, agile product and project management, IT consulting, and data management and analytics. He has 18 years of experience in Silicon Valley as a founder of five technology startup companies, and a product development executive at large software companies such as Infor and Autodesk. In addition to teaching, Dr. Hakim is an advisor and a mentor to a number of startup tech companies and is an active angel investor. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer-Aided Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
