Dr. Maher Hakim

Bio

Dr. Maher Hakim is currently an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar, where he teaches courses on innovation entrepreneurship, agile product and project management, IT consulting, and data management and analytics. He has 18 years of experience in Silicon Valley as a founder of five technology startup companies, and a product development executive at large software companies such as Infor and Autodesk. In addition to teaching, Dr. Hakim is an advisor and a mentor to a number of startup tech companies and is an active angel investor. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer-Aided Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
