If you ever felt that your 128GB flash drive was mighty, Kingston just trumped you, with its all new 2TB USB stick announced at CES 2017. Kingston Technologies announced the all new DataTraveler Ultimate Generation Terabyte, a flash drive that packs 2TB of storage in a fancy streamlined design. The question then rises, what exactly do you do with 2TB of storage?
You can store up to 256,000 images at 24MP quality, or over 70 hours of 4K video files. Alternatively, you can also plug it into an Xbox One for some extended storage. With a 2TB USB stick, storing massive amounts of files has become a lot easier, also thanks to the USB form factor. It has also become a whole lot easier to carry along your digital life, thus making the need for any external drive obsolete.
In terms of pricing and availability, nothing has been released. For comparison sake, we know for now that the Kingston 512GB HyperX flash drive costs around US$300, so we can expect this new USB stick to be a bit more expensive. Are you looking forward to getting this USB stick? What would you store in it?
