Foundation Healthcare Holdings (FHH) and UOB have entered into a strategic partnership to provide tailored banking, insurance, and digital solutions for healthcare providers under the Health Connective Programme.
Under the collaboration, more than 650 healthcare providers in the programme will gain access to financial and operational solutions designed to support their day-to-day clinic operations and business needs.
As part of the partnership, UOB will offer Health Connective Programme members access to merchant payment terminals with no annual or setup fees, competitive merchant discount rates, and cash management solutions that allow clinics to earn cash bonuses on average monthly balances without locking up funds. The first 100 participating clinics will also receive a co-branded NETS FlashPay card.
Healthcare providers will also have access to a clinic insurance package covering professional indemnity, public liability, medical equipment, and business interruption. The insurance offering is available exclusively to programme members at preferential annual premiums, with additional discounts for operators managing multiple clinics.
Members who maintain a UOB business account can also access UOB BizSmart, a suite of digital business solutions covering accounting, payroll, point-of-sale systems, and other operational tools. Selected solutions can be integrated with UOB's SME banking platform to streamline business processes.
Launched in October 2024, the Health Connective Programme aims to improve coordination and collaboration among private healthcare providers, including family physicians, general practitioners, specialists, and allied health professionals. The programme currently supports a network of more than 650 providers across Singapore.
Mr Liaw Yit Ming, Chief Executive Officer of Foundation Healthcare Holdings, said the partnership supports the programme's goal of addressing not only clinical collaboration but also the operational challenges faced by healthcare providers. He added that the collaboration with UOB extends the programme's ecosystem to include access to financial and digital solutions that enable providers to operate more efficiently.
Mr Paul Kan, Country Head, SME Banking (Emerging Enterprise), UOB, said the bank worked closely with Foundation Healthcare to design solutions that address operational risk, efficiency, and resilience for healthcare providers within the programme.
