HSBC Group COO Suzy White Joins HSBC Singapore Board

HSBC Singapore has appointed Suzy White to its board, the bank announced.
White is currently Group Chief Operating Officer of HSBC. She has spent 25 years with the bank in senior leadership roles across operations, risk, finance and transformation.
Her previous positions include Chief Operating Officer for Global Banking and Markets, Regional Chief Operating Officer for Global Markets in the Americas, and Chief Risk Officer for Global Banking and Markets and Commercial Banking in the United States. She has also served on the board of HSBC Securities and as a member of the Commodities Futures Trading Commission Market Risk Advisory Committee.
HSBC said White's appointment will support the bank's position in Singapore, which it identifies as a priority market serving as an international wealth hub, a regional treasury centre and a base for innovation and sustainability initiatives.
