Cracking his first deal with Wells Fargo, an American multinational bank, wasn't exactly how Christopher thought it would go. Founder of The Campfire Effect/ kCross, Christopher Carter Smith said that when approaching the bank he said, "I don't have much of a track record but I'm ready to do a workshop with your management team for free." After doing the workshop, the bank didn't take a lot of time to say yes.

This is the story of Christopher who says that his startup days were hard and what could have really helped him along the way was a good mentor as it could get a bit lonely on the way. He recommends the same for new startups and says, "There are a plenty of people ready to mentor you if you want to be mentored."

Christopher has been in talks with various entrepreneurs through LinkedIn to franchise in India. He says that there's a real hunger in India for this idea of storytelling and brand and he would definitely want to be a part of it.
