The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2018's Startup Town showcased more than 70 startups across tech, e-commerce, healthcare and more. Entrepreneur Middle East chats with Ashlyn Prasad, co-founder and CEO of Bright Learning, an educational online platform committed to helping students improve their English proficiency by connecting them with qualified, native English tutors for personalized lessons.

As an edutech startup offering online and offline lessons, Prasad says offering a new learning experience is a challenge they're learning to tackle. As for entrepreneurs, the co-founder and CEO advises aspirants to have the courage in taking the leap to entrepreneurship: "It's nice to have a vision and a concept, but until you put yourself out there, you don't know what's to come yet."

Organized by Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center, Sheraa, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SharjahEF) 2018 gathered more than 3,000 attendees consisting of youth, entrepreneurs, government partners, investors and industry veterans. The two-day event featured more than 100 prominent local, regional and international speakers.
