Parenting or child rearing is the process of promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social, financial, and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood. Given the stresses of contemporary Indian culture, parents find it difficult to manage all responsibilities and provide proper care and attention to their children. Moreover, first time parents and expecting parents are clueless when it comes to child rearing. Early childhood is an important phase in the development of the child. This is why it is important that parents provide a good and cherished childhood. In a rapidly changing world, parenting seems subject to trends and changing styles, but the needs of child development as delineated by science remain relatively stable. In this digital world, parents are leveraging technology to enhance their relationships with children and promote an overall growth and development of their children.
