Smart Shopping Tips to Protect Yourself Against Fraud Back-to-school shopping or preparing for the holiday season? Don't sacrifice security for convenience.

Having strong passwords is also an obvious precaution -- but you'd be surprised how many people don't!

When you're shopping in a store, again, stick to those trusted retailers. And if you're paying with a card, insert your card's chip rather than swiping it.
