Work Experience
Dan Bova began his 25-year career in media as a writer for the satire magazine Spy. He has served as editor-in-chief of Stuff and Maxim magazines, worked as a producer on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and currently writes, edits, and hosts podcasts, webinars and live events for Entrepreneur. He is also the writer of several books for curious kids, including This Day in History, Car and Driver's Trivia Zone, Road & Track Crew's Big & Fast Cars, The Big Little Book of Awesome Stuff, and the illustrated middle-grade reader Wendell the Werewolf. Dan was a syndicated humor columnist for Gannett Newspapers and co-wrote the horror/musical feature film Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead. At Entrepreneur, he specializes in profiling the people behind successful companies and brands and is particularly interested in learning and sharing how they tap into creativity to unlock big ideas and bring them into reality. Dan earned his BA at New York University, majoring in film and television production at Tisch School of the Arts.
