1. Apple's security in the jinx. For the second time in six months, the tech giant has caught an engineer attempting to leak confidential information about the company's secret autonomous vehicle programme to China.

2. Google gets lucky. The company revealed that one of its apps was violating the same policies of data distribution as a Facebook app that landed the social network in trouble with Apple.

4. Boeing's profit flight surpasses the $100 billion mark. For the first time ever, the aerospace giant has reported $101.1 billion in annual revenue.
