1) Uber is eyeing Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The ride-hailing company is looking to double its engineering headcount in India by taking the number of employees these 2 centers to 1,000 in the next 12 months.

2) Intel Corp is working to ease the workload. It has announced that it is working with Facebook Inc to finish a new artificial intelligence chip will help companies with high workload demands.

3) Netflix is about to face major competition from the Walt Disney Company. Reportedly it will launch Disney+, a live streaming service in the United States in the latter part of next year.

4) 2018 was the year of start-ups but also for Alexa. Amazon has announced that it has sold over 100 million devices with its Alexa smart assistant built-in.
