1. Internet of things seems to be the flavor of the week. IoT startup DeTect Technologies has raised $3.3 million in Series A funding, led by SAIF Partners.

2. The digital payments startup InstaReM has secured $20 million in its series C funding round, led by MDI Ventures. The funds will reportedly be used for global expansion.

3. CropIn Technology Solutions attracts big fishes for its Series B funding round. The agritech startup has raised $8 million from Chiratae Ventures and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

4. During the week, Bengaluru-based fintech platform Signzy also raised $3.6 million in Series A funding led by Stellaris Venture Partners and Kalaari Capital.
