Actor Tamannaah Bhatia has entered the fine jewellery retail space with the launch of her new brand, Tamannaah Fine Jewellery, marking her move into entrepreneurship as both founder and creator.
The contemporary fine jewellery label is built around the philosophy "Beyond the Occasion", positioning jewellery as something meant for everyday wear rather than being reserved for special events. The brand aims to reflect how modern women live today, with pieces designed for comfort, movement, and personal expression.
"I've always loved jewellery, but I felt there was space to look at it differently. I wanted to create pieces that women can actually live in, not something you pull out just for an occasion," Bhatia said. She added that jewellery should feel natural and personal, noting, "It should move with you, reflect your mood, and feel like a part of who you are."
The brand launches with three core collections: Half & Half, The Flick, and Plumptious; which explore contrasts such as masculine and feminine, light and form, and stillness and movement. The pieces are crafted in 14K and 18K gold, using natural diamonds and gemstones, and feature modern design elements intended for everyday use.
Tamannaah has partnered with her father, Santosh Bhatia, to oversee design, production, and retail operations, ensuring close involvement at every stage of the brand's development.
The label has also opened its flagship store in Juhu, Mumbai, designed as a contemporary, welcoming space rather than a traditional jewellery showroom.
With this launch, Tamannaah Fine Jewellery reflects a growing shift in India's luxury market, where fine jewellery is increasingly being positioned as part of daily style rather than occasional wear.
