Children-focused snacking and meal brand Slurrp Farm has raised INR 30 crore (around USD 3.3 million) in an extended Series C funding round from Scarlet Ventures.
The Gurugram-based startup had last raised funds nearly two years ago, securing INR 60 crore (USD 7.2 million) from Fireside Ventures, Raed Capital, and others in January 2024.
According to filings from the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Wholsum Food Private Limited, the parent company of Slurrp Farm, allotted 1,04,457 Series C1 preference shares at an issue price of INR 2,872 each to raise the capital from Scarlet Ventures. The company stated the funds will strengthen its long-term financial resources.
Since its founding in October 2016 by Meghana Narayan, Shauravi Malik, and Umang Bhattacharyya, Slurrp Farm has raised around USD 18 million across multiple rounds. This includes a USD 7 million Series B led by the Investment Corporation of Dubai, after which Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma joined as an investor and brand ambassador.
Slurrp Farm produces healthy, millet-based snacks and meals for children, offering products such as organic cereals, cookies, pancake and dosa mixes, noodles, and pasta made from ragi and jowar, without refined sugar or artificial preservatives.
The company's parent reported a 30% year-on-year growth in operating revenue to INR 95.6 crore in FY25 from INR 72.5 crore in FY24, although losses rose 29% to INR 32.7 crore during the same period.
Slurrp Farm competes with other children-focused brands in the healthy snacks and meals space, including The Whole Truth, Protinex Junior, and Nutrihub.
