A new AI innovation hub is set to take shape in Bengaluru as Bharat1 AI Research & Innovation City (B1 AI City) announced plans to launch an AI Superpark in collaboration with NVIDIA.
The initiative aims to bring together researchers, startups, enterprises, investors, and academic institutions to build sustainable, humanity-first AI solutions for global markets.
Designed as a comprehensive ecosystem, B1 AI City will support AI-first researchers and startups building in India while connecting them with enterprise partners, consultants, and funding networks.
The Superpark will work closely with NVIDIA to provide accelerated computing software, advanced infrastructure, and technical expertise, enabling startups to develop scalable AI products for international deployment.
The collaboration will also integrate the NVIDIA Inception program, which supports startups with technical enablement and business growth opportunities.
Through the NVIDIA Inception VC Alliance, participating startups will gain access to venture capital networks, while connections to NVIDIA's developer and enterprise ecosystem are expected to open new business opportunities and global partnerships.
B1 AI City is planned as a sustainable AI innovation district in the heart of Bengaluru's technology corridor. The district is designed to host more than 25,000 AI researchers and engineers and will feature around 4 million square feet of commercial research and development space for AI labs, startups, product companies, and applied research facilities.
The project is expected to generate nearly one exabyte of 4D data annually to support frontier AI research. Its first operational phase will include a 500,000-square-foot AI Superpark, described as the largest innovation campus in India dedicated exclusively to artificial intelligence.
Subhashis Banerjee, Co-founder of B1 AI Superpark, said, "We are building and funding AI startups from the world's most tech talent dense country, Bharat, in its most talent dense city, Bangalore. Startups here face major challenges including access to accelerated computing resources, access to global corporations for go-to-market purposes, and access to smart, knowledgeable long-term capital."
He added that the partnership with NVIDIA would help cultivate India's AI ecosystem by providing critical infrastructure, global market access, and long-term investment support.
Tobias Halloran, Director of EMEAI Startups and Venture Capital at NVIDIA, said, "India's AI startup ecosystem is primed for acceleration, driven by exceptional technical talent and global ambition. NVIDIA is accelerating this momentum by giving founders direct access to accelerated computing, scalable AI infrastructure, and programs like NVIDIA Inception and the Inception VC Alliance."
The announcement coincides with the growing national focus on AI, highlighted by the IndiaAI Mission and discussions at the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 held in New Delhi.
