Cancer care startup Oncare has secured INR 27 crore (about USD 4 million) in a Series A funding round led by Sky Impact Capital.
Other participants in the round include Huddle Ventures, Lotus Herbal Group, SteerX and Tremis Capital.
The startup had previously raised USD 1 million in a seed round led by Huddle Ventures and other investors.
The Gurugram-based startup will use the fresh capital to expand into new metro markets as well as tier-II and tier-III cities. It also plans to invest in technology infrastructure to streamline clinical operations, improve care coordination, and make the treatment process more seamless for patients.
Founded in 2023 by Amar Sneh and Deepak Kumar, Oncare operates a distributed oncology care platform focused on providing affordable and standardised cancer treatment. Its model brings together medical, surgical and radiation oncology services through accredited hospitals under a capital-efficient structure.
Oncare currently runs four centres across Delhi NCR and has built a multi-centre oncology platform within three years of its launch. The startup is now targeting expansion across the country.
Funding activity in the oncology segment has increased in recent years, with startups such as 4baseCare, Everhope Oncology and MOC Cancer Care & Research Centre also raising capital.
