Everyday-wear brand Cava Athleisure has raised INR 40 crore in a Series A funding round led by Sharrp Ventures, which contributed INR 21 crore.

The round also saw participation from V3 Ventures and existing investor Spring Marketing Capital. Following the investment, the Bengaluru-based startup has been valued at INR 215 crore.

This funding comes months after Cava Athleisure raised USD 1.14 million in seed capital in June 2024, led by Spring Marketing Capital along with other investors.

Founded in 2022 by sisters Ria Mittal and Shreya Mittal, the company operates as a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand focused on athleisure and everyday wear for both men and women.

According to the startup, the fresh capital will be used to support new product development, brand building, and omnichannel expansion, while also strengthening its leadership team. It plans to deepen its presence across online and offline channels as part of its next phase of growth.

Cava's product portfolio includes items such as leggings, joggers, tops, and everyday essentials, made using materials like BCI-certified cotton and recycled polyester. The brand positions its offerings around comfort, durability, and versatility, targeting consumers who prefer clothing that can be worn across fitness, work-from-home, and daily activities.

The startup follows a function-first and design-led approach, with an emphasis on fabric quality and fits tailored for Indian consumers. It operates its own production facility, allowing it to manage design, pattern-making, and quality control internally.

Cava Athleisure primarily caters to Gen Z and millennial consumers aged 15 to 30, focusing on customers seeking sustainable and adaptable apparel. The company stated that it has scaled operations steadily and expects to close FY26 with revenues of around INR 40 crore.

In growing athleisure and activewear market, Cava Athleisure competes with brands such as Blissclub, HRX, Cultsport, Alcis, and Zivame's activewear line, among others that cater to fitness-focused and everyday-wear consumers.
