Kerala-based D2C fashion brand MyDesignation has raised INR 40 crore in a Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with participation from existing investors Veltis Capital, Multiply Ventures, and Dominor Investments.
The startup had earlier secured USD 1.25 million in seed funding in February 2025.
The new capital will be used to expand offline retail operations, strengthen senior leadership, and introduce new product categories as the brand enters its next phase of growth.
Founded in 2020 by husband-and-wife duo Swaroop Krishnan and Gopika B Raj, the startup positions itself as a design-led, community-driven fashion and lifestyle label.
MyDesignation operates through a digital-first model supported by a growing offline presence in cities such as Bengaluru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Calicut. The brand states it has served more than one million customers nationwide and reports strong repeat purchase rates.
Since its inception, the company said it has achieved annual revenue growth of around 100 percent. Its workforce has grown to about 100 employees, and it plans to strengthen leadership across finance, supply chain, merchandising, and marketing functions.
The funding will also support a structured offline expansion strategy, with plans to open eight stores over the next year in markets including Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. The brand focuses on culturally inspired casual wear featuring mostly unique designs for everyday and occasion-based use.
