Deeptech startup ThirdAI has raised USD 3 million in a seed funding round co-led by Endiya Partners and Capria Ventures.
The fresh funds will be used to advance product development, expand its teams in India and overseas, and speed up deployments with equipment manufacturers and semiconductor fabrication plants.
Founded in 2024 by Vivek Vishwakarma and Sainyam Galhotra, ThirdAI operates across India and the US. The company is building a causal AI-powered platform designed to support root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting in semiconductor manufacturing. It works with semiconductor equipment makers and fabrication facilities to help reduce downtime and improve production yield.
ThirdAI's platform integrates equipment logs, sensor data, service reports, field records, and technical documents into a unified system. By applying causal AI, it aims to identify cause-and-effect relationships across large volumes of operational data. The company focuses on automating RCA, a process that is often handled manually and can take several hours per incident in semiconductor fabs.
According to ThirdAI, pilot and production deployments have shown faster diagnostic times and improved accuracy compared with traditional manual analysis methods.
