Elixiir Foods, a Delhi NCR-based grocery startup, has raised USD 9 million in a seed funding round led by 3one4 Capital, with participation from Incubate Fund Asia.
The startup plans to use the capital to build an omnichannel, technology-driven food platform focused on fresh and gourmet products for urban consumers.
The startup aims to position itself as a trusted source for fresh produce, dairy, meat, poultry, seafood, and daily essentials such as flours, rice, spices, snacks, beverages, and ready-to-eat items. It also plans to offer in-store bakery and café services along with private label products.
Founded by Arvind Mediratta and Ambuj Narayan, Elixiir Foods is building a "destination-led" grocery format. The platform combines farm-led sourcing with a centralized wholesale and supply system to support both physical stores and digital ordering. The startup describes its positioning as "affordable premium," targeting dense urban markets with a mix of in-store discovery and online repeat purchases.
Arvind Mediratta, Founder and CEO, said, "India is no longer looking only for basics. It wants healthier food choices along with authentic gourmet cuisines." He added, "Elixiir Foods is being built as a tech-native destination, positioned as the most trusted platform for fresh, healthy, and gourmet food products."
Mediratta also highlighted the importance of pricing, stating, "Indian customers across all SECs are highly value-conscious, making pricing the X-factor right at the wholesale and distribution level." He noted that the addressable market for such offerings exceeds $100 billion and continues to grow.
The fresh capital will support the company's launch, strengthen sourcing and private label supply chains, and build technology infrastructure for city-level expansion.
Elixiir Foods competes with players such as BigBasket, Blinkit, Zepto, Reliance Fresh, and DMart.
