EyeROV Raises INR 13 Cr in Pre-Series A Funding

Marine robotics startup EyeROV has raised INR 13 crore in a pre-Series A funding round co-invested by AWE Funds and Unicorn India Ventures.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate research and development, support new product innovation, and expand its footprint in India and international markets.

Founded in 2017, EyeROV operates in the marine robotics and underwater inspection space. The startup develops remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and unmanned surface vessels (USVs) used in infrastructure, energy, and defence-related applications.

EyeROV claims to have executed more than 150 projects for over 80 clients across sectors such as power, oil and gas, ports, shipping, and government bodies.

Its client base includes companies like Tata Power, NHPC, Adani, ONGC, BPCL, and Maersk, along with defence and government organisations including the Indian Navy, DRDO, and the Indian Coast Guard.

The startup has also recently secured an order worth INR 47 crore from the Indian Navy. EyeROV integrates non-destructive testing tools such as ultrasonic testing, sonar imaging, and AI-based inspection systems into its robotic platforms.

Gamepoint Bags INR 7 Cr in Pre-Series A Funding

Technology-enabled sports startup Gamepoint has raised INR 7 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Dr Raj P Narayanam, founder of Zaggle, and Aditya Vuchi, general partner at VCMint. The round also included participation from Praveen Raju, founder of Suchitra Academy, along with other investors.

The fresh capital will be used to expand its multi-sport centre network and strengthen its technology and operational capabilities. Over the next five years, Gamepoint plans to scale to more than 300 centres across metro cities as well as tier I and tier II locations, with the goal of enabling 1 crore people to participate in sports across India.

Co-founded by Aditya Reddy and Siddharth Reddy, the Hyderabad-based startup operates professionally managed multi-sport centres designed to offer convenient access to learning and playing sports for people of all age groups. Its centres provide structured coaching programmes for children, flexible membership and pay-and-play options for adults, and sports event management services for corporate clients.

Gamepoint's facilities feature international-standard courts and fields, specialised coaching programmes, membership plans, and on-site sports stores. The company follows a neighbourhood sports centre model and operates through a mix of owned centres and potential franchise-led locations.

At present, Gamepoint runs centres across Hyderabad and Warangal, offering infrastructure for sports including badminton, basketball, pickleball, squash, football, cricket, table tennis, and swimming. The startup claims to have trained over 12,000 students, enabled more than 3 lakh people to play sports, and organised over 700 sports events to date.

Nila Spaces Invests INR 6 Cr in Alt DRX

Design-led real estate developer Nila Spaces has invested INR 6 crore to acquire an approximately 1.4% minority stake in Alt DRX, a fintech startup working in asset and real estate tokenisation in India. The investment forms part of Alt DRX's current funding round, which has also attracted participation from global institutions and Indian family offices.

According to Nila Spaces, the investment reflects its interest in supporting the shift of real estate tokenisation from early-stage adoption to wider scale. The Ahmedabad-based startup said the partnership aligns with its focus on financial innovation that aims to improve access, transparency, and long-term value creation in the housing sector.

Under the collaboration, Nila Spaces and Alt DRX will work on developing regulatory-compliant and investor-friendly tokenised housing products. These products are expected to enable fractional ownership, lower entry barriers for a broader set of investors, and maintain institutional-grade governance and transparency.

Nila Spaces is led by Deep Vadodaria and is part of the Sambhaav Group. The company develops residential and commercial real estate projects, with a focus on affordable housing, luxury apartments, and developments in GIFT City, and holds a sizeable land bank in Gujarat.

Alt DRX, founded in 2021 by Anand Narayanan KB, is a Bengaluru-based fintech prop-tech startup that enables fractional ownership of residential real estate using blockchain technology.
