Fabless semiconductor startup Vervesemi Microelectronics has raised USD 10 million in a Series A funding round led by market investor Ashish Kacholia and Unicorn India Ventures.

The round also saw participation from Roots Ventures, Caperize Fina and MAIQ Growth Scheme.

The newly raised funds will be deployed across three strategic priorities. The company plans to accelerate commercialisation of its machine learning–enhanced analog signal chain integrated circuits, including advanced data converters and intelligent power and sensing solutions aimed at industrial automation, smart energy, motor control and avionics markets.

Investment will also support production readiness of existing silicon chips, product qualification processes, and expansion of engineering and applications teams to serve global customers.

In addition, part of the funding will be used to expand its intellectual property portfolio and strengthen research and development in next-generation precision analog architectures.

Founded in 2017 by Rakesh Malik and Pratap Narayan Singh, Vervesemi develops high-performance analog and mixed-signal IP and differentiated integrated circuits for global markets. The company has built more than 140 semiconductor IP blocks and 25 IC product variants serving space, defense, industrial, motor control and smart energy applications. Its portfolio is supported by multiple patents and trade secrets.

Vervesemi claims that it is an IP alliance partner in the Samsung Advanced Foundry Ecosystem and a partner with United Microelectronics Corporation, reflecting recognition from major semiconductor foundries. Over the past year, the startup validated its ML-enabled analog signal chain architecture in silicon and expanded customer engagement across industrial and smart energy segments. Several programs have advanced into late-stage development and qualification, signaling a transition toward product-driven operations.

The company has introduced new solutions including motor control products for electric vehicles and industrial automation, bridge sensor interface chips for precision measurement, and an avionics-grade multi-function controller for aerospace and defense applications. Early customer design commitments and evaluation programs indicate growing demand for high-precision analog solutions.

Looking ahead, Vervesemi aims to expand its engineering workforce, scale product tape-outs and strengthen its presence across Asia and the United States. The company expects to secure production design wins and begin generating early revenues as it moves toward commercial scale.
