Every job is important, but there are those that stand out. For Jeni Merrill, of Merrill Inc., it was the enduring impact her construction company had on the Bright Angel Trail at the Grand Canyon. Because of her company's work, parts of the trail were rebuilt and improved and amenities like bathrooms were added for hikers for the first time in more than a century. Says Merrill, a runner up for this year's Small Business Person of the Year, "It was really something."
