Yang Lan, co-founder and Chairperson of the Sun Media Group:

Yang Lan is one of the most powerful women in Chinese media. She is the co-founder and Chairperson of the Sun Media Group and the Sun Culture Foundation.

In 2013, she's ranked 100 in the 100 World's Most Powerful Women in Forbes. Her multiplatform empire includes TV, newspapers and magazines and the Web, and she is also a leading television host who has interviewed Bill and Hillary Clinton and Kobe Bryant.

Eva Chen, CEO, Trends Micro:

Eva Yi-Hwa Chen, is a Taiwanese Entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Tokyo headquartered company Trend Micro, the world's largest security firm. She leads the tech giant earning revenue of $ 1 billion and more with more than 5000 staff across 50 countries.

Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chairman and Managing Director, Biocon:

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is an Indian entrepreneur. She is the chairman and managing director of Biocon Limited, India's largest Biotechnology Company based in Bengaluru, and the current chairperson of IIM-Bangalore.

She was awarded Padma Shri (1989) and Padma Bhushan (2005) by the Indian government.

Rosalia Mera, co-founder, Zara And Inditex:

Rosalia Mera, Spanish Entrepreneur and co-founder of biggest clothing brand Zara dropped out of school at age eleven to work as a sales assistant in a clothing shop. With the exceptional success of her clothing brand, Mera became Spain's world's richest woman.

Cher Wang, co-founder, HTC:

Cher Wang is a Taiwanese entrepreneur, co-founder and chairperson of HTC Corporation and integrated chipset maker VIA Technologies. She is considered one of the most powerful and successful women in technology.

Cher co-founded the ABAC Women's Forum to identify capacity-building policy recommendations that enhance opportunities for women in business, and to hold outreach activities within APEC economies.

Oprah Winfrey, American entrepreneur, TV show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist:

Oprah Winfrey is an American entrepreneur, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. She is best known for her talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show, which became the highest rated talk show in the television history.

Oprah formed her own production house in 1988, Harpo Studios along with Oxygen Media, a cable network for women reaching more than 54 million viewers.

Sofial Vergara, Colombian Actress, Television Host, Model and Entrepreneur:

The Colombian-born actress was the highest paid female celebrity in television in 2015. Her investment doesn't only include brand endorsements.

She and her business partner Luis Balaguer co-founded the Hispanic-owned multi-million dollar Media Empire Latin World Entertainment (LWE) in 1998.

Chanda Kochhar, Managing Director and CEO, ICICI Bank:

The MD and CEO of India's largest private bank-ICICI is widely recognized for her role in shaping retail banking in the country. Under Kochhar's leadership, ICICI Bank won the "Best Retail Bank in India" award in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005 and "Excellence in Retail Banking Award" in 2002.

Indra Nooyi, CEO, Pepsico :

PepsiCo CEO and Chairman Indra Nooyi is an inspiring lady to millions of young entrepreneurs who struggle every day at work places. She is an IIM alumnus and was named the president and CFO of PepsiCo in 2001.

Simone Tata, Chairperson, Trent Limited:

Simone Tata, is an Indian business woman who introduced beauty salons, cosmetics for Indian consumers. Lakme, a small subsidiary of the Tata Oil Mills, under the leadership of Simone Tata, went on to become one of the largest cosmetic manufacturing of India.Mrs. Tata was also the Chairperson of the Trent Limited, a subsidiary of the Tata Company.
