1. WhatsApp is no longer free, at least not for businesses. The messaging platform is launching APIs for WhatsApp Business, its first revenue-generating product in India.

2. As if security issues at Facebook were not enough, the company's security chief Alex Stamos has now quit. Stamos admitted that the platform is still used by malicious elements to manipulate political discussions.

3. Google is ready to break into the Great Wall of China, well digitally! In a bid to meet China's censorship rules, Google is crafting a search engine especially for the country. This move from the company comes in eight years after withdrawing from China.

4. Tata Consultancy Services is ready for a busy train ride. The Indian Railways has joined forces with the IT service provider to conduct world's largest recruitment drive of 100,000 people.
