Supertails

Petcare startup Supertails has raised USD 30 million in a funding round led by Venturi Partners, with participation from Nippon India Alternative Investments, Titan Capital Winners Fund and existing investors including Fireside Ventures, RPSG Capital Ventures, Sauce VC and Saama Capital.

The startup said the fresh capital will be used to expand its clinics and services, support the veterinary ecosystem, improve personalisation for pet parents, and strengthen fulfilment and logistics capabilities as it scales operations across urban India.

Founded in 2021 by Varun Sadana, Aman Tekriwal, and Vineet Khanna, Supertails focuses on addressing the changing needs of pet owners through customised offerings. Its mobile app provides access to pet food, treats, accessories, healthcare products, and other essentials, positioning the platform as an integrated solution for pet care and parenting needs.

Supertails has also introduced at-home veterinary services, including consultations, vaccinations, and preventive care. The startup currently operates quick delivery services in Bengaluru, offering over 30,000 pet care products, including pharmacy items, and plans to extend rapid delivery to other major cities.

In addition, the company has expanded into categories such as fresh pet meals and daily essentials, while onboarding more than 500 brands. It has built a nationwide network of over 100 veterinarians, including specialists and tele-vets.

To date, the Bengaluru-based brand has raised around USD 51 million. This includes a USD 15 million Series B round, a USD 10 million Series A round , and USD 2.6 million in seed funding.

Supertails competes with players such as Heads Up For Tails, Wiggles, and Petzzco in the domestic petcare market.
