"I love the idea of actually embedding technology in my body." That's what tech enthusiast Veronica Belmont says. "I love the idea of being able to take all of our technology with us."
From smartwatches to health-tracking wristbands and beyond, the market for wearble tech is heating up.
But if you ask Belmont, the opportunity to use technology to really change and improve our lives is by putting smart technology directly inside of our bodies. One example could be placing RFID chips under you skin that store passwords or hold other data.
Another example could be Google's "smart" contact lens that could someday help monitor diabetes and possibly even take pictures. "I would much rather have that than Google Glass," Belmont says.
