How to Build Your Following on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat

In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner and online marketing expert Michelle Held explains to build up your followers on the following platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Snapchat.

"Do not buy fake followers in any of these situations," she says. "It doesn't do you any good. Sure, it builds up that number and looks inflated, but it's not going to make those sales and it's not going to get the metrics that you want."

Instead, Held recommends posting relevant content two to three times a week -- but you don't want to drown out your visitors by posting too often. And don't bee too sales-y, either.

"If' you're a gym, and you're trying to get gym memberships, you could post inspirational quotes related to the industry," she says.
