From Homeless to Hired, This Entrepreneur Always Makes Sure to Pay It Forward Siloh Moses speaks about his time living on the streets and struggling to convince employers of his worth.

In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner Business Rockstars talks with the owner of non-profit restaurant Fork and Spoon, Siloh Moses. After his employer fled town and neglected to pay Moses and his other co-workers their paycheck, Moses was forced to come to terms with the fact that he could not pay his rent and eventually became homeless. Moses recounts how he tried to turn to his mother, hoping he could return to his childhood home, but was left with only advice to look for housing on his own.

In time, Moses was able to find refuge in his friend's tiny office space. This place to stay and its included desktop device helped Moses start the job search process and eventually get to a level where he was hireable to employers. Moses's experience living on the streets and struggling to get the attention of hirers extends to how he treats people in similar situations today. When he is able to, the entrepreneur strives to pay it forward and help those in need.
