Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about publishing with us
What types of news can I publish?
Submit announcements such as product launches, investments, partnerships, expansions, financial results, research findings, M&A updates, recalls and key hires. We do not accept generic ads, opinion pieces or content unrelated to business, entrepreneurship or industry news.
What’s included in each press release?
Each approved press release is:
- Published on our site on its own dedicated page
- Listed in our press releases hub for ongoing discoverability
- Optimized for search visibility
Higher-volume tiers may include additional placement opportunities or priority scheduling, which you can configure during onboarding.
How does the review and approval process work?*
When you submit a press release you can select a preferred date or ASAP. If 48 hours have passed after submitting and selecting the ASAP option, or if the preferred date has arrived before the press release has been reviewed, the press release will be published.
Our team reviews press releases during regular business hours (Monday-Friday) to ensure they align with our content policy and meet formatting guidelines. Releases submitted after business hours, over the weekend or during major holidays will begin processing the next business day. If we review your press release and determine that it cannot be published, we will unpublish it and email you an explanation. All denied press releases will be fully refunded.
If approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your scheduled publish window and, when applicable, a preview link.
Can I edit or cancel a release after submission?
Yes. If you need to adjust copy, timing or assets, you can request changes before the scheduled publish time at support@entrepreneur.com. For time-sensitive changes or cancellations, reach out at least 72hours (three business days) in advance so we can accommodate your request whenever possible.

After the press release is published, there are no changes unless approved by Entrepreneur Media.
Do you guarantee media coverage?
We provide high-quality submissions and targeted exposure to a relevant audience on our platform, but we cannot guarantee third-party media pickup or coverage. However, consistent, well-crafted press releases increase your odds of being discovered and referenced by journalists, operators and investors.
How should I format my press release?
Aim for a clear, objective tone, avoid overly promotional language, and keep your release within a professional length (400 to 1,400 words). Include a descriptive, concise headline featuring your company name, along with a dateline, body copy, boilerplate and media contact information.
What if my release isn’t accepted?*
Because we curate for quality and relevance, some submissions will not be accepted. When that happens, we’ll share the reason so you can avoid having another submission denied, and process a full refund. This ensures that every press release on the platform meets a consistent standard that benefits both our audience and contributors.
Will my press release appear in search results?
Yes. Every press release published on Entrepreneur.com has its own dedicated page, making it indexable by search engines like Google. Because Entrepreneur.com is a high-authority domain, your release has a stronger chance of ranking than it would on a generic wire service or your own site.
What counts as a press release vs. a paid ad?
A press release announces something newsworthy. A paid ad is promotional content designed to drive a purchase or action — “buy our product,” “sign up today,” “limited time offer.” That type of content isn’t accepted through this platform. If your goal is to promote a product or service directly to Entrepreneur’s audience, our sales team can take care of that for you. Contact the support team at support@entrepreneur.com.
How long does my press release stay published?*
Press releases will stay on our site as long as they meet our approval guidelines.
Entrepreneur Media has the right to remove any press release subject to the take down and refund policies set forth in the Terms of Service.
