Entrepreneur's Colleen DeBaise reports on the SXSW Accelerator competition at the annual South By Southwest Interactive festival in Austin, Texas. Now in its fourth year, the event invites high-potential online businesses to pitch before a panel of judges.

With the likes of Twitter and Foursquare launching at SXSW in years' past, the Accelerator has become a platform for winning exposure and investment. See her interviews with event organizer Chris Valentine, investor Scott Weiss of venture-capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, who is one of its emcees, and entrepreneur participants Jeb Ory of 5 Degrees and Abhi Shelat and Jason Lawrence of Arqball.com.
