Recently, Ataya raised US$20 million in a Series B round of funding from an institutional investor, Gulf Islamic Investments.

In a chat with Entrepreneur Middle East, Ataya shared more details about her personal and work philosophy which has led her to raise new funds at a time when investors have become hesitant to make any crucial investments, especially in startups.
