1. Windows phones reach a dead end. After a long while of fighting the obvious, Microsoft has announced the end of support to the mobile operating system and is now suggesting Lumia users to switch. 

2. Samsung locks horns with Indian government. Protesting against the Phased Manufacturing Programme (PMP), the mobile giant will be reducing mobile phone manufacturing in the country.

3. Facebook is on a roll. After launching Lasso, IGTV and Facebook Watch, the social networking platform is reportedly working on a Snapchat-like LOL app with funny clips and GIF support.

4. OnePlus gets weird. Users have reported a new bug in the smartphone’s OxygenOS which kills background apps, automatically. The company has clarified the issue as a battery optimization feature.
